Not only will Volunteer be holding the fort at The Social this month, with an aural assault of electronic kitsch and rock n roll, they'll also be joined by some very special guests. First up, Tim Holmes (Death in Vegas) will be DJing a collection of obscure punk, electro inspired beats and some of his recent remixes. Next, Roman Revutsky, the Siberian based man-machine songster, is flying in to promote his latest e.p. and perform his charming and unique take on vocal electronica storytelling. Finally, fresh from appearing on Rob Da Banks' xmas special, Zoltan Kodaly School For Girls, the world's first post modern recorder quartet, return to amaze the place with their supertooting covers of indie classics. 6pm-12am. Volunteer caught the ear of Mark Moore while he was reviewing the We Are Stupid e.p. In fact he was so impressed that they played his Electrogogo night at Madame Jojo's. Fabulous! 9pm-3am. £6 entry (£4 w/ flyer).
